Sailing through the summer months, and the year, it’s almost June and things are looking up. Last week I received an invite to attend an influencer meet over coffee and conversations with one of the largest clothing brand under FLF called Bare. Bare has its retail space at Central Mall, and this one was at J.P Nagar. It was good to step out for a change where coffee and shopping was involved. Now who can resist that?
It was a small gathering of influencers from the city, the fashion and lifestyle bloggers. We had some coffee and a bit of banter and were taken through what the brand was about, and stood for, and showcased Bare’s latest Spring Summer 2019 collection. It was the first time for me and I have to admit, its quite trendy, modern street wear and more so the collection boasts of a comprehensive leisure-wear collection offering something for every age group.
I tried about two looks from their collection. I personally love denim and went gaga over their capri and black denim. The had a lot of floral tops and checks to take your pick. Snug fit cropped T-shirts. Shrugs to shorts and maxi dresses.
I never really owned a pair of black denims and these the minute I wore them, it was the perfect fit and felt next to skin. Super comfy and made me look like a million bucks. Like I have been working out at the gym all day (Leg Day). I paired this with ruffles check shirt, again great cut and right fit. The off shoulder check top also complimented my Jhumkas I wore that day. Bare clothing is affordable and trendy, to mix and match and stay ahead as a fashionista. To style the black denims you can enhance the look like I did here by folding them a bit to show off the ankles.
Next up I totally dug the denim capris, again super snug and perfect fit, and come up right at the mid-calf and its perfect to wear with sneakers or heels to add some oomph to your look. Capris are a bit hard to style, keeping it minimal is key. They do tend to make you appear shorter. So ensure to wear short sleeve t’s or tops, ensure you follow the rule of thirds, this will accentuate your figure and make you appear taller and slimmer. I paired this with a green shimmer netted T-shirt, to add some flare I tied a knot and voila, again my earrings and transparent block heels complimented the look for brunch or night out at the movies.
Bare is essentially about owing your style and making sure you are comfortable wearing it. You can catch all action from that day under my Instagram Highlights “Bare X SGD”. For more you can head to the Central Mall spread across the city to try out Bare’s latest collection. And feel free to drop your comments below. Until next time stay positive and don’t forget to slap on that sunscreen to stay cool.
