Signature hosted a five city tour of its Signature Tastings series with Master blender Caroline Martin and Master chef Ranveer Brar.
Some of the cities top lifestyle, fashion and food bloggers got to interact and learn the history behind the making of Signature, and learn to pair it with Indian fusion cuisine. We also had Hemant the brand ambassador for Signature to guide us through the cocktail making sessions.
I had the opportunity to get a quick sound bite from both the Masters that evening, held at Fava, in UB City Bangalore.
Caroline Martin: Is an experience master blender with 32 years of experience in the industry. She hails from Scotland, she studied Home Economics with Food Recipe Development at Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh. It was great to see such passion for whisky-making, and curating Signature cocktail drinks.
Ranveer Brar: Is one of the top celebrated Masterchef in the country and the world. It was fun to watch him prepare dishes infused with Signature Premier.
It was great to get onto center stage and create an old fashioned. I have found a new calling, it so appears <wink>
Signature Premier an absolute delight to try, pairs well with Indian food. Aged Indian malt blended with 8 year old scotch – 42.8% alcohol phew!!
Nose – Light with hints of smoke and wood chips
Palate- Smoky and peaty ..medium bodied
Finish – peaty and you get the subtle grainy flavour. Citrusy with a lovely Smooth finish.
Overall a fantastic night socialising with fellow bloggers and media houses. We got to savour some cocktails over a scrumptious dinner at Fava. Here is a glimpse of the evening.
I would describe myself as someone who loves to eat good food and travel, am polished and classy, yet have that little girl spirit in me and my fashion sense is chic which has to be accompanied with bold statement pieces and fresh accessories. I love to get pampered, totally spoil myself, and why not?
