Here is a snippet with Chef Panchai, and his favorite Sushi’s that you must try!
Sous Chef Abhijit along with expat Chef Boonlurah Panchai, from Thailand have a special curated menu for all you Sushi lovers out there. I had a preview of some of the gorgeous Sushi and Maki rolls, and the highlight the Sashimi platter. They also had some delectable Vegetarian options.
Diners have the option to either chose Sushi Platters or go in for the A la Carte menu.
What’s in my Glass?
To start off, we just had two cocktails to accompany the menu. First off was a more orange zesty refreshing drink called Asian Punch, followed by a more ginger spiced drink called Beijing Bellini.

What’s on my Plate?
We began with some Amuse Bouche if you will, a fresh salad and some crackers to start.
Sashimi and Nigiri platter with Tuna, Salmon, Scallops and Yellowtail fish were set on a beautiful platter. Pleasing to the eyes and the palate soon after. It just disappeared as soon as it was laid out on the table. Highly recommended!
My first time trying out Unagi Nikku Roll (fresh water eel and avocado, topped with crispy garlic), have to say it ended up being my favorite, hint of spices to get the taste buds tingling. Chef Panchi, highly recommends you try this, it was a bit chewy at first, with a hint of spices that roll out, I quite liked it and went for two more rolls.
Maki rolls as the Unagi were an instant hit and disappeared as soon as they got placed on the table.
Trio Roll – Hamachi, salmon, tuna roll with scallion – just looking at the picture, one gets tempted, this was absolute delicious. Highly recommend.
Another hot favorite would be Ebi Tempura Roll – Batter fried prawn tempura roll, topped with tanuki. It was divine.
For the Vegetarians, fear not, you can take your pick too, and enjoy some delicious and colourful rolls. Here are some more of the delicious Sushi pictures from my lunch. 🙂
Overall, the lovely company of some of Bangalore’s top bloggers and writers. Delish sushi, and surrounded by awesome ambience, made for a delectable after noon. I was stuffed and hit food coma. Would love to go back and try out some of the rolls I did not get to try.
How has your experience been at Zen? Do let me know how you felt, about this Promo Menu of all things sushi, and more! Would love to hear your thoughts.

I would describe myself as someone who loves to eat good food and travel, am polished and classy, yet have that little girl spirit in me and my fashion sense is chic which has to be accompanied with bold statement pieces and fresh accessories. I love to get pampered, totally spoil myself, and why not?
